Bath Half Bucket Brigade

A team of 8 volunteers from the Bath Business Club hit the streets of Bath yesterday, collecting for Dorothy House – this year’s lead charity for the Bath Half Marathon.

As so many volunteers were bucket collecting at the event, the total raised is yet to be confirmed.   We’re hoping to hear on this later this week.

Sponsorship for September 2009 Dorothy House Midnight Walk

As it’s Thursday and the weekend’s now clearly in sight, I wondered if you could spare some of your spending pennies for charity.

This Saturday I’ll be taking part in an eight kilometre midnight walk for Dorothy House, a South West charity which provides an incredible amount of support and care – and I’m hoping you’ll be able to help it raise some much-needed funding.

I appreciate I won’t be running 26 miles in a gorilla suit, bathing in beans or stopping swearing for a month (impossible), but I will be joining a few hundred ladies in a walk to raise sponsorship for an incredible charity.

I’m now over half way towards my fundraising target and I’m grovelling for your support:   justgiving.com/Jennie-Wood (please don’t forget to tick the Gift Aid box)

Thanks for your time – all donations very very very gratefully received :-)
