Bath Half Bucket Brigade

A team of 8 volunteers from the Bath Business Club hit the streets of Bath yesterday, collecting for Dorothy House – this year’s lead charity for the Bath Half Marathon.

As so many volunteers were bucket collecting at the event, the total raised is yet to be confirmed.   We’re hoping to hear on this later this week.

I’ve just had it confirmed that members of the Bath Business Club raised an impressive £738.13 for Dorothy House. Not bad for two hours’ work! The total raised by all bucket-collecting volunteers on Sunday was £1405.63; with the charity hoping to have raised a further £50,000 in sponsorship from runners.
